Partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 90s will continue for the next couple of hours across all of North Texas. Temperatures will remain around 90 degrees for the beginning of most fireworks displays this evening. Scattered thunderstorms associated with a cold front are ongoing across parts of southern Oklahoma and West Texas. These storms will drift slowly southward and eastward over the next several hours. Some thunderstorms will be possible mainly across the Red River counties through midnight. Gusty winds...frequent lightning...and locally heavy rainfall will be the main threats with these storms.
