A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through Saturday evening for the Oklahoma and the northern Texas
panhandles.
* Timing: rain will change over to snow tomorrow afternoon through
tomorrow evening. The snow and blowing snow will continue through
Saturday afternoon.
* Main impact: snow totals of 3 to 5 inches are expected. Northerly
winds of 20 to 30 mph may result in near blizzard conditions
creating near white out conditions and drifting snow. Hazardous
travel conditions are anticipated.
* Other impacts: wind chill values in the single digits to near zero
are expected late Friday night and Saturday morning.
