Showers and thunderstorms continue to move northeast... from the vicinity of the dfw area northeastward. A few of these storms could produce brief heavy rain and small hail. Additional thunderstorms are likely later in the evening and overnight. A few of these storms likely will become severe...with a threat of large hail and damaging winds. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
