... Today is winter weather awareness day in Texas...
The governors division of emergency management... through the Texas department of public safety... has joined with the National Weather Service to focus public attention on winter weather preparedness across the state of Texas today.
As they always say in Texas... if you dont like the weather... just wait a while. One day it can be icy and frigid and the next day nice and warm. To emphasize the need for public awareness... the Austin/San Antonio National Weather Service office will issue a series of public information statements.
