Through 7 am...a cold front located from Laredo to choke Canyon Reservoir at 400 am will continue to sweep east at 25 mph. The front will reach Alice around 6 am and Corpus Christi around 7 am. Isolated to scattered showers will continue to develop along the front as it approaches the region. These showers will produce moderate downpours with generally less than 1/10 inch rainfall totals. Areas of dense fog will continue to reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or less across portions of the area ahead of the front. The fog will be swept away as strong northwest winds develop in the wake of the front. Dense fog advisory remains in effect for Jim Wells...Kleberg... Nueces and San Patricio counties.

Areas of dense fog early in the morning. Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning...then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Windy. Highs in the mid 70s. North winds 20 to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 7 am CST this morning for Jim Wells... Kleberg... Nueces... and San Patricio counties.
Areas of dense fog have developed across portions of the coastal Bend. Visibilities of 1/4 mile or less have been reported at both Kingsville and Alice. Some additional fog development closer to the coast will be possible through the remainder of the early morning hours. A cold front will sweep through the region between 6 am and 8 am causing the fog the lift rapidly.
