The Flood Warning continues for
the Elm Fork Trinity River near Carrollton.
* At 0715 am Friday the stage was 11.16 feet.
* Flood stage is 8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 12 feet
by Sunday afternoon then begin falling but remain above flood
stage.
* At 10 feet, moderate flooding will occur on the right bank.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Dallas County in north central Texas...

* until 945 am CDT

* at 732 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain has ended
across Dallas County. 3 to 5 inches of rain fell across much of
Dallas County. In the Garland area over 6 inches of rain fell
overnight.

Flood waters are beginning to recede in most areas... but there are
many creeks and streams that are still flooded and impacting
roadways and structures... including Duck Creek... Spring Creek...
and Rowlett creek in northeast Dallas County.

Flooding is still occurring with numerous roads still impassable.
Multiple high water rescues have occurred. Travel has become
impossible in many areas. If you live in a low lying area near a
creek or stream be prepared to move to higher ground should waters
rise to your location.

Dallas... Garland... Irving... Grand Prairie... Mesquite...
Carrollton... Richardson... Rowlett... DeSoto... Grapevine... Cedar

the Rowlett creek near Sachse.
* At 0630 am Friday the stage was 30.89 feet.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest between 31 and
31.5 feet Friday morning. The river should fall below flood stage
Friday afternoon.

The Flood Warning continues for
the White Rock creek near White Rock creek at Greenville Ave.
* At 415 am Friday the stage was 89.45 feet.
* Flood stage is 84 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 90 feet
which is major flood stage... early Friday morning. The river should
fall below flood stage Friday morning.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Trinity River at Dallas.
* At 0400 am Friday the stage was 37.76 feet.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 43 feet
by Friday evening then begin falling but remain above flood stage.
* At 42 feet, the S.L. & S.W. Railroad and Santa Fe Railroad bridges
in south Dallas flood.





235 am CDT Fri may 29 2015

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the West Fork Trinity River at Grand Prairie.
* Until Sunday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0130 am Friday the stage was 24.99 feet.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river should rise above flood stage by Friday
overnight and continue to rise to a crest near 30 feet by Friday
morning. The river should fall below flood stage by Sunday after
midnight.
* At 30 feet, moderate flooding will occur along the lowland areas of
the river.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas...

Eastland... Ellis... Erath... Fannin... Grayson... Hamilton...
Hill... Hood... Hunt... Jack... Johnson... Kaufman... Mills...
Montague... Navarro... Palo Pinto... Parker... Rockwall...
Somervell... Stephens... Tarrant... wise and Young. In northeast
Texas... Delta... Henderson... Hopkins... Lamar... rains and Van
Zandt.

* From 6 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning

* widespread 1 to 3 inches with isolated higher amounts possible.

* Soils are saturated across the watch area. Any additional
heavy rain will runoff quickly and result in flash flooding.

and lake flooding across the area.
