Through the early morning hours look for a band of showers and thunderstorms...along and ahead of a cold front moving into parts of northeast Texas...southeast Oklahoma...and southwest ...To move east around 20 mph. The band will be about 50 miles wide with the leading edge nearing a Rosston to Canale Arkansas...Vivian Louisiana...and Marshall...Henderson... and Rusk Texas line by 230 am. Look for an area of showers to spread northeast across the East Texas lakes area toward northwest Louisiana from middle Toledo Bend Lake to Logansport. More scattered showers will affect parts of north central Louisiana and south central Arkansas from Cotton Valley to Magnolia. One hour rainfall amounts will vary from a few hundredths of an inch to near one half to three quarters of an inch. The heavier rains will be near the leading edge of the band of showers and thunderstorms affecting communities near Whitehouse... Kilgore...Longview...Jefferson and Kildare Texas...Rodessa Louisiana...and Ravanna...Piney Grove...and Patmos Arkansas.

The Flood Warning continues for the Sulphur river near Naples. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 7:00 am Sunday the stage was 26.9 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 22.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 26.5 feet by Tuesday morning and continue to fall some two to three inches a day through the upcoming week.
