This area will begin to diminish as sunset approaches...but a few showers may last through 9 PM. The area was moving slowly northeast and could produce several more hundredths of an inch of rainfall before exiting ending. A thunderstorms could produce around one half inch of rainfall.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
Lamar County in north central Texas...

* until 930 PM CDT

* at 624 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated moderate rain due to
thunderstorms over areas that have seen abundant rainfall over the
past few days. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Paris... Blossom... Deport... Roxton... Toco and Sun Valley.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
