Between 1 am and 3 am...showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and become more numerous from San Angelo and the Concho Valley east across the Heartland...and across southern Callahan County. These showers and storms will contain heavy rain. Rainfall amounts through 3 am of 1 to 2 inches could occur where the rain persists. Motorists should be alert for ponding of water on roads. Farther to the south...a band of light to moderate rain showers will move southeast across southern sections of west central Texas.
