... Freeze warning remains in effect from 3 am to 9 am CST Tuesday... ... Wind Advisory is cancelled... The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has canceled the Wind Advisory. A freeze warning remains in effect from 3 am to 9 am CST Tuesday. The freeze warning is in effect for the counties of Young... Stephens... Palo Pinto... Eastland... Comanche... and Mills. Wind speeds will subside this evening which will allow temperatures to fall to near or below freezing by sunrise. Temperatures will be coldest in valleys and other sheltered locations. Another episode of freezing temperatures is expected again Tuesday night for the warned area. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A freeze warning means that the seasons first episode of sub- freezing temperatures are likely to occur. These conditions will kill sensitive plants and residents are advised to protect tender vegetation.
