Thunderstorms across North Texas have weakened over the past 30 minutes. Thus...no severe weather warnings are in effect...as of 300 PM. Showers and thunderstorms continue to move northeast... from the vicinity of the dfw area northeastward. A few of these storms could produce brief heavy rain and small hail. Additional thunderstorms are likely later in the evening and overnight. A few of these storms likely will become severe...with a threat of large hail and damaging winds. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
