Cold air will continue to spread across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles through early evening. There will be enough moisture near and behind this cold front to bring low clouds...fog...and a mix of rain and snow to many parts of the panhandles through tonight. Through 6 PM...low cloudiness...gusty north winds...and light showers will spread into western Oklahoma and northwest Texas panhandles. Wind chills will quickly become noticeable as winds strengthen and temperatures drop. The best chance of snow accumulations this evening will be north of a line from near Dalhart to Beaver with up to 4 inches in the extreme western Oklahoma Panhandle. A trace or less is expected for the southern Texas Panhandle.

At 403 PM CST... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm over Morse... moving southeast at 25 mph.
Up to one half inch size hail and winds around 50 mph are possible.
