Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms continue across the Big Country... northern and western Concho Valley and Crockett County. The rain will be moderate at times. Additional rainfall amounts of one quarter to one half inch are likely where the rain persists. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across the Heartland and Northwest Hill country over the next couple of hours. The stronger storms will be capable of producing periods of moderate to heavy rainfall ..occasional cloud to ground lightning and gusty winds. This may cause ponding of water on roads and possibly some localized flooding. Motorists should use caution and not drive into areas where water covers the Road.
