Numerous showers with embedded thunderstorms containing heavy rainfall will track from the Interstate 35 corridor into eastern North Texas through 4 am. Locally heavy rainfall will likely produce flash flooding due to saturated soils. In addition... ongoing river flooding may increase through the morning hours across the area. Nighttime flooding can be life-threatening. If you come across flooded roads...especially moving water...turn around don't drown. Isolated severe storms could produce localized damaging downburst winds...along with an isolated tornado. Otherwise...expect mild and humid conditions with temperatures remaining in the mid 60s to lower 70s through 4 am.

heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin or continue
across the warned area.

* At 0830 PM Saturday the stage was 10.85 feet.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise above flood stage by
Sunday morning and crest near 16 feet by Sunday afternoon. The
river should fall below flood stage by Sunday afternoon.

* at 1253 am CDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small
Stream flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain
has already fallen across parts of Collin County.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Plano... McKinney... Frisco... Richardson... Allen... Wylie... Sachse...
Murphy... Prosper... Royse City... Anna... Fairview... Princeton...
