very heavy rain from a line of slow moving thunderstorms over
Miller County arkanssas. This line of storms will push slowly
eastward over the next few hours... affecting Lafayette and Hempstead
counties. Doppler radar indicates these thunderstorms producing rainfall
at rate in excess of 2 inches in an hours time.

along Highway 82... between the old Red River main gate and
Panther Creek. Doppler radar showed a line of thunderstorms
producing more than 2 inches of rain in an hours time. Additional
flooding will be possible as these storms continue moving over the
same area.

* At 730 am Wednesday the stage was 20.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by late Friday morning and
continue to rise to near 25.0 feet by Monday early afternoon.

* At 1100 am Wednesday the stage was 10.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
to rise to near 16.0 feet by Sunday evening.
* Impact... expect minor lowland flooding.
