The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River near Gladewater, Texas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1215 PM Friday the stage was 30.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 33.6 feet by
Wednesday morning. Additional rises remain possible thereafter.
* Impact... flooded boat ramps, trails and overflow of banks. Move livestock
and equipment to higher ground.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1145 am Friday the stage was 27.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 29.5 feet by
Tuesday evening then begin falling.
* Impact... flooded boat ramps and overflow of banks. Move livestock
and equipment to higher ground.

the Sabine River near Mineola, Texas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1215 PM Friday the stage was 17.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 17.7 feet
by morning.
* Impact... at 18.0 feet... expect severe flooding with some barns
facing flooding. Preparations should be completed for moderate
flooding.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southwest Arkansas... northwest Louisiana...
southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas... including the
following areas... in southwest Arkansas... Hempstead...
Howard... Lafayette... Little River... Miller... Nevada and
Sevier. In northwest Louisiana... Bossier and Caddo. In
southeast Oklahoma... McCurtain. In northeast Texas...
Bowie... Camp... Cass... Cherokee... Franklin... Gregg...
Harrison... Marion... Morris... Panola... Red River... Rusk...
Smith... Titus... Upshur and wood.

* Through Saturday evening

* showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage and
intensity through Saturday as an upper level tough and a cold
front edge slowly eastward. Locally heavy rainfall amounts of
one to three inches are expected... with isolated higher
amounts to near four inches. The soil remains saturated and
this new rainfall will quickly runoff into our already swollen
local and area wide drainage systems.

* Low lying and poor drainage areas... especially in the vicinity
of rapidly rising bayous... creeks and streams... will be most
prone to flash flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
