Statement as of 7:31 PM CST on November 09, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Trinity River near Moss Bluff * until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 0630 PM Monday the stage was 17.1 feet * minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet * forecast... the river will continue a slow fall but remain above flood stage for several days. Flood observed forecast 6 PM location stage stage day time Tue Wed Thu Fri Trinity River Moss Bluff 15 17.1 Mon 06 PM 17.0 16.9 16.8 16.7 731 PM CST Mon Nov 9 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Trinity River in Liberty * until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 0715 PM Monday the stage was 27.8 feet * moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 26.0 feet * forecast... the river will continue a slow fall but remain above flood stage for several days. * At 27.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding begins as roads into several outlying communities above Liberty are closed with residents in 5 or 6 subdivisions cut off if not evacuated.
