Statement as of 9:11 AM CST on November 11, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Trinity River near Moss Bluff * until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 830 am Wednesday the stage was 17.0 feet * minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet * forecast... the river level will continue to slowly fall but is expected to remain above flood stage for the next several days. Flood observed forecast 6 am location stage stage day time Thu Fri Sat sun Trinity River Moss Bluff 15 17.0 Wed 8 am 16.9 16.8 16.8 16.7 911 am CST Wed Nov 11 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Trinity River in Liberty * until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 846 am Wednesday the stage was 27.5 feet * moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 26.0 feet * forecast... the river level will continue a very slow fall but is expected to remain above moderate flood stage for the next few days. * At 27.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding begins as roads into several outlying communities above Liberty are closed with residents in 5 or 6 subdivisions cut off if not evacuated.
