A heat advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT Friday.
High temperatures will range from 100 to 107 today and Friday...
which will approach or break records. Heat index values will be
around 105 from the late morning through early evening and may
briefly reach as high 110. Overnight temperatures will generally
be in the upper 70s to lower 80s with high humidity.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A heat advisory means very high temperatures and humidity will
create conditions that may cause heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
Drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids... stay in air conditioned
buildings... stay out of the sun... and check on relatives and
neighbors.
