At 1225 PM...the National Weather Service meteorologists...in Shreveport...using Doppler radar...indicate a 60 mile wide area of widely scattered showers extending from near hope Arkansas across Avinger Texas...to near Palestine Texas...moving to the northeast near 30 miles an hour. Expect showers to continue to develop this afternoon and affect parts of the area. Rainfall amounts will be less than one tenth of an inch...through 2 PM.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
