Nowcast as of 6:25 PM CST on November 15, 2009
Now
A cold front will continue to move across the southeastern New Mexico plains and the northern and central Permian Basin early this evening. Winds will shift to the northwest and increase to 20 to 30 mph...with a few gusts of 35 to 40 mph following the passage of the front. Blowing dust will also occasionally reduce the visibility to less than a mile...especially near recently plowed fields. Motorists should exercise caution if encountering blowing dust this evening.
