* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for poor drainage areas

Denton County in north central Texas...
Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* until 1245 am CDT

* at 938 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Worth... Arlington... Plano... Grand Prairie... Carrollton...
Frisco... Denton... Lewisville... Flower Mound... Mansfield... Euless...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas...
including the following areas... in north central Texas...
Bosque... Collin... Comanche... Cooke... Dallas... Denton...
Eastland... Ellis... Erath... Fannin... Grayson... Hamilton...
Hill... Hood... Hunt... Jack... Johnson... Kaufman... Mills...
Montague... Navarro... Palo Pinto... Parker... Rockwall...
Somervell... Stephens... Tarrant... wise and Young. In northeast
Texas... Delta... Henderson... Hopkins... Lamar... rains and Van
Zandt.

* From 6 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning

* widespread 1 to 3 inches with isolated higher amounts possible.

* Soils are saturated across the watch area. Any additional
heavy rain will runoff quickly and result in flash flooding.

and lake flooding across the area.

At 939 PM CDT... Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pilot Point to North
Richland Hills to near Crowley... and moving east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Periods of heavy rainfall is also occurring with this line of storms.

Locations impacted include...
Dallas... Fort Worth... Arlington... Plano... Garland... Irving... Grand
Prairie... Mesquite... McKinney... Carrollton... Frisco... Denton...
Richardson... Lewisville... Allen... Flower Mound... Mansfield...
