A cold front moving through the northwest counties of North Texas continue to cause rain showers out ahead of it. The rain...some with heavy downpours and gusty northwest winds...were occurring mainly from Glen Rose northeast across the metroplex and into areas from gainesvile to Bonham. This area of activity will move east at 15 mph through mid evening...mainly effecting locations north of I-20 and east of I-35. Rainfall amounts of one half and one inch are possible Further southeast...scattered showers were lined up from collage station northeast across Centerville and Palestine. This rain was moving northeast at 25 mph with little drift to the east...thus it may not begin to move out of the area until around sunset. Expected rainfall will average 1/2 to 1 inch from the heavier showers
