At 1125 PM...National Weather Service radar indicated a large cluster of rain showers with a few embedded thunderstorms was moving north out of Mexico into southern New Mexico and far West Texas at a speed of 10 to 15 mph. Intermittent rain showers will vary from sprinkles to moderate in intensity with rain amounts up to half an inch possible in the next few hours. Embedded weak thunderstorms may produce brief periods of heavy rainfall and wind gusts up 45 mph. Rain is likely through the rest of tonight and through mid day Friday.
