	Freeze Warning
Statement as of 3:16 PM CST on November 16, 2009 ... Freeze warning in effect from midnight tonight to 9 am CST Tuesday... The National Weather Service in Lubbock has issued a freeze warning... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 am CST Tuesday. The freeze watch is no longer in effect. Light winds and a very dry airmass in the wake of a cold front will yield ideal conditions for cold temperatures. Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing for several hours late Monday night and early Tuesday... with lows likely 25 to 30 degree range by sunrise Tuesday. This will bring the first hard freeze to many locations east of The Caprock. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
