The low clouds and fog should persist through the early part of the morning...with improving conditions anticipated around midday.

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST this morning for the eastern halves of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles.
Areas of dense fog are expected this morning across the eastern half of the Texas Panhandle and the eastern half of the Oklahoma Panhandle. Visibilities will be reduced to one quarter mile or less at times.
