Showers and thunderstorms over extreme northeastern New Mexico and extreme southeastern Colorado will move southeast at 20 to 25 mph over the northwestern Texas and western Oklahoma panhandles. These showers and storms will likely affect locations mainly along and northwest of an Elkhart to Romero line. Rain amounts with these showers and storms will average between a tenth and one quarter of an inch...however amounts could approach one inch with some of the heavier storms. Although the showers and thunderstorms over the southwestern Texas Panhandle from earlier have dissipated...other additional showers and storms may possibly develop through early this evening. Any showers or storms that develop will move slowly south.
