The National Weather Service in Amarillo has cancelled the Winter
Weather Advisory for the eastern and central Oklahoma Panhandle and
northeast Texas Panhandle. A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect
from 9 PM this evening to 9 am CST Wednesday for the eastern and
central Oklahoma Panhandle and northeast Texas Panhandle.
* Timing: cold air will filter into the region once again this
evening... bringing dangerously low wind chill values to the
advisory as early as 9 PM this evening... continuing through 9 am
CST Wednesday morning.
* Main impact: low wind chill values ranging from 5 degrees below
zero to 15 degrees below zero tonight could lead to health concerns
if precautions are not taken.
* Wind impacts: winds will diminish after sunset. However... winds of
10 to 20 mph will continue through the overnight hours.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... freezing
drizzle... or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be
prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use
caution while driving.
