A High Wind Warning is in effect for the southwest Texas Panhandle and a Wind Advisory is in effect for the remainder of the western and south central Texas Panhandle until 6 PM CST. A Pacific cold front was moving across the eastern Texas Panhandle. Drier air and strong winds were spreading across the central and southern Texas Panhandle as the front moves east. The strong and gusty winds may also cause reduced visibilities of 2 miles or less due to blowing dust. Motorists are urged to use caution as the gusty winds may make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles.
