Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 8:23 PM CDT on April 01, 2015

The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
southeastern Bexar County in south central Texas...
northwestern Wilson County in south central Texas...

* until 1015 PM CDT

* at 815 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fallen
along the Bexar and Wilson County line between U.S. Highways 87
and 181 due to slow moving showers and thunderstorms. This will
cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Doppler radar estimates
between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Hedwig... La Vernia and Calaveras Lake.

Additional rainfall of one half to one inch is expected over the
area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... as well as farm and country roads. Do not
attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.
