Statement as of 3:00 PM CST on February 26, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 am Friday to midnight
CST Friday night...

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for accumulating snow... which is in effect from
6 am Friday to midnight CST Friday night.

* Timing: light to moderate snow will develop around 6 am and move
into portions of western Oklahoma and western North Texas
through the morning and into the evening... tapering off through
midnight.

* Main impact: 1 to 3 inches of snow.

* Other impacts: slick and hazardous roads can be expected...
impacting the Friday morning and evening commutes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be careful if you have to travel. Even small amounts of ice and
snow can make roads and sidewalks slick and dangerous.
