... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for
Throckmorton... northwestern Shackelford... Jones and southeastern
Haskell counties until 645 PM CDT...

At 602 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast
of Irby... and moving northeast at 35 mph.

Hazard... ping pong Ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and pets outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage
         to roofs... siding... windows and vehicles. Expect wind damage
         to roofs... siding and trees.

The severe thunderstorm will be near...
Throckmorton around 630 PM CDT.

Other locations in the warning include the intersection of US-380 and
Highway 222.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although one is not

* until 900 PM CDT

* at 555 PM CDT thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall rates of over
an inch per hour is falling on areas that have already received
heavy rainfall earlier today. This rainfall will likely result in
flooding of urban and rural areas within the advisory area.

* Impacts from this heavy rainfall will include:
flooding of low lying roads and intersections.
Flooding of low water crossings... avoid these areas.
Rapid rise of area creeks... streams... and arroyos.
