Statement as of 10:52 PM CST on November 10, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Trinity River near Moss Bluff * until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 1030 PM Tuesday the stage was 17.0 feet * minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet * forecast... the river will continue a very slow fall but levels will remain above flood stage the next several days. Flood observed forecast 6 am location stage stage day time Wed Thu Fri Sat Trinity River Moss Bluff 15 17.0 Tue 10 PM 16.9 16.8 16.7 16.7 1052 PM CST Tue Nov 10 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Trinity River in Liberty * until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 1015 PM Tuesday the stage was 27.6 feet * moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 26.0 feet * forecast... the river will continue a very slow fall but levels will remain above flood stage the next few days. * At 27.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding begins as roads into several outlying communities above Liberty are closed with residents in 5 or 6 subdivisions cut off if not evacuated.
