Nowcast | as of 6:04 PM CDT on July 22, 2014

Through 7 PM...isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue across the southwest Texas Panhandle and South Plains. At 6 PM...one storm was located near Hart with another west of The Muleshoe wildlife Refuge. This activity was moving westward around 10 mph. This activity is expected to continue to decrease in coverage through the mid-evening hours. However...the strongest storms will still be capable of producing brief heavy rain...gusty winds to 50 mph...and cloud to ground lightning. Move inside a sturdy building if a thunderstorm approaches your area.
