The Flood Warning continues for
the sister Grove creek near Blue Ridge.
* At 0200 PM Sunday the stage was 26.51 feet.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 27 feet
by Sunday evening. The river should fall below flood stage late
Monday afternoon.

the East Fork Trinity River at McKinney.
* At 0130 PM Sunday the stage was 16.69 feet.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river has crested and will continue to recede and
fall below flood stage by Sunday night.
* At 16 feet, minor out of bank flooding will begin along the river.

... Flash Flood Watch now in effect through Monday evening...

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* all of north central Texas.

* Through Monday evening

* an upper level disturbance will track through the region
tomorrow and bring another round of severe thunderstorms with
heavy rainfall. The soil is already saturated... so any
additional heavy rainfall will cause flash flooding.

* Average rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts is
expected over north central Texas Monday.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for heavy
rain which may lead to flash flooding. You should monitor the
latest forecasts from the National Weather Service and be
prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued for
