Flood Warning
Statement as of 7:49 PM CDT on May 26, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for the Guadalupe River near Bloomington.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7 PM Tuesday... the stage was 25.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast: the river will continue rising to near 28.0 feet Sunday
morning, then begin a slow fall.
* At 28.0 feet, major flooding approaches the river levees near the
San Antonio River confluence. Miles of Highway 35 and the flood plain
near it, will flood, cutting off many homes and flooding a fishing
Camp near Tivoli. Hundreds of livestock are cut off and potentially drown.

The Flood Warning continues for the San Antonio River at Goliad.
* From late tonight to Saturday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 8 PM Tuesday... the stage was 21.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast: rise above flood stage late Tuesday night. Crest near
33.5 feet by Thursday evening. The river will fall below flood
stage by late Saturday morning.
* At 33.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs. Roads, many Camp sites, RV
and temporary shelter sites in Goliad State Park flood. Hundreds of
livestock downstream in the flood plain are cut off and potentially
drown.
