... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 2 am to 10 am CDT
The National Weather Service in Midland/Odessa has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for mainly snow... which is in effect from
2 am to 10 am CDT Sunday.
* Event... accumulating snow above 5500 ft.
* Timing... 2 am CDT to 10 am CDT.
* Impacts... accumulations on roadways making driving dangerous.
Visibilities in the windy conditions could be further restricted and
make driving even more difficult.
* Snow accumulations... one to three inches from 5500 ft to 7000
ft... above 7000 ft 5 inches.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... and sleet
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and
limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

to 4 PM CDT /3 PM MDT/ Sunday...

Advisory... which is in effect from 10 PM CDT /9 PM MDT/ this
evening to 4 PM CDT /3 PM MDT/ Sunday.
* Event... strong winds.
* Timing... tonight through Sunday.
* Winds... northerly 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
* Impacts... lawn furniture and garbage cans could be blown about
by the wind. Vans... campers... trailers... and other high-profile
vehicles could briefly be hard to handle. Blowing dust may
reduce visibility to 2 to 5 miles at times... could be lower near
open fields and construction sites.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
