...Wintry conditions anticpated to bring in the New Year...

After a warming trend early this week...an Arctic front will move south across West Texas and southeast New Mexico Monday night and Tuesday. Much colder air will move south over the area Tuesday through new years eve. Warm...moist air from the Pacific will move over this low level cold airmass...setting the stage for the possibility of light freezing rain or sleet Tuesday through Thursday night. Warmer air will move into the area on Friday...changing any precipitation to rain showers.
