... Areas of fog will persist through 9 am CDT...

Areas of fog will continue to impact portions of northern Alabama and
southern middle Tennessee through 9 am CDT. Although visibilities
will generally be in the 3 to 5 mile range... locations which received
heavy rainfall yesterday may experience locally dense fog with
visibility reductions to one quarter of a mile. Motorists are urged
to exercise caution if fog is encountered while traveling this
morning.
