The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 4 PM EST Thursday.

Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts near 45 mph.

40 to 57 mph are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles...
so use caution when driving.

... Record daily maximum rainfall set at the Tri-Cities regional Airport...

A record rainfall of 1.37 inches was set in the Tri-Cities yesterday.
This breaks the old record of 0.96 set in 1979.

The rainfall amounts listed below are listed by the County into
which the rain falls, and then the Reservoir/Basin into which the
water will flow after it hits the ground. For example, rain falling
at McGhee-Tyson Airport will flow into Ft. Loudon-Tellico Lake.
