* Flood Warning for...
Macon County in middle Tennessee...
Clay County in middle Tennessee...
northern Jackson County in middle Tennessee...
northwestern Overton County in middle Tennessee...

* until 400 PM CDT

* at 1000 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated that 3 to 5 inches of
rainfall has fallen over the past 6 hours over the warned area.

throughout the area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lafayette... Livingston... Celina... Red Boiling Springs... red Boiling
Spring... Dale Hollow Lake... Standing Stone State Park...
Whitleyville... Bugtussle and Moss.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
