...Freeze warning remains in effect from 4 am to 9 am CDT Saturday... ...Freeze warning remains in effect from 3 am to 9 am CST Sunday...

* timing and areas affected...north Alabama and portions of southern middle Tennessee beginning 4 am CDT through 9 am CDT Saturday morning and again from 3 am CST through 9 am CST on Sunday morning. The best chance of freezing temperatures will be in northwest Alabama and in southern middle Tennessee tonight and early Saturday morning and throughout southern middle Tennessee and north Alabama for Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

* Temperatures...between 29 to 32 degrees for a duration between 3 to 5 hours early Saturday morning and between 3 to 6 hours late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

* Impacts...any living vegetation and crops that are susceptible to freezing temperatures may be damaged or killed.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
