...Some slick spots possible late tonight into Saturday morning for northern middle Tennessee...

A low pressure system approaching from the southwest will spread light precipitation into middle Tennessee tonight and Saturday morning. For the south half of the mid state...the precipitation will be mainly rain...mixed with some sleet. The north half of the mid state will have a mix of light sleet...rain and snow...along with the possibility for patchy freezing rain.

The precipitation amounts will be very light...and no measurable accumulations are expected. However...a few slick spots are possible for areas along and north of Interstate 40...where temperatures will dip to freezing.

The main travel concern for tonight into Saturday morning will be slick spots on bridges and other elevated surfaces.

Please use extra caution while traveling tonight and early Saturday.
