The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the South Fork Forked Deer river near Halls
* from early Friday may 24 until further notice.
* At 9 am Thursday the stage was... 8.6 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 10.0 feet expected Saturday may 25.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by late Friday may 24 and
continue to rise to near 10.0 feet by Saturday may 25.
At 10.5 feet, flooding on agriculture land near the river.

The Flood Advisory continues for
the Mississippi River below Osceola
* until Sunday may 26 but will likely be cancelled earlier.
* At 10 am Thursday the stage was 26.0 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue falling.
* At 26.0 feet... cold creek is now running south out of Open Lake due
to Mississippi River headwater flooding. Jones Slough is flowing
north to Grammer Road. Many sloughs are beginning to flood fields.
Brandywine Camp begins to go under water.
