Statement as of 12:11 PM CST on March 05, 2015

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from midnight tonight to
6 am CST Friday...
... Winter Storm Warning has expired...

* accumulating snowfall potential has ended across the area.

* Wind chill values... around minus five late tonight.

* Impacts... temperatures are likely to stay below freezing over
most of the area through Friday night... although sunshine should
help to melt some of the snow and ice during the day on Friday.
Many roadways will remain slick and hazardous for an extended
period of time.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.

... No weekly NOAA Weather Radio test again today...

Due to continued inclement weather... the weekly NOAA Weather Radio
test has been postponed again.

The weekly test will be conducted at the normal time on the next
good weather day. We expect to issue the test Friday morning between
11 am and noon.
