A Blizzard Warning remains in effect until noon CST Saturday. * Timing... widespread snow and blowing snow will continue producing whiteout conditions... especially in open areas. Blizzard conditions will continue through Saturday... even as snowfall intensity begins to decrease during the night. * Accumulations... additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected tonight through Saturday. Widespread storm total snowfall of 15 to 20 inches will be common through Saturday with locally higher amounts expected. * Wind and visibility... northwest winds will continue averaging 25 to 35 mph... diminishing slightly on Saturday. This will create widespread visibilities of near zero through Saturday morning. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring... causing life threatening conditions. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions... making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel.
