Statement as of 9:56 PM CST on March 02, 2015

... Blizzard Warning remains in effect from 7 am to 3 PM CST
Tuesday...

* timing... worst conditions from early Tuesday to early afternoon
Tuesday.

* Accumulations... 2 to 3 and a half inches of snow possible is
possible.

* Wind and visibility... north to northwest winds of 30 to 45 mph
will be common... with some gusts around 50 mph possible Tuesday
morning. The combination of strong winds and falling snow will
create a period of very low visibility.

* Wind chill values... wind chill values will fall to 10 to 15
below zero by late afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions... making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel... have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded... stay with your vehicle.
