Statement as of 10:31 PM CDT on March 21, 2010 The Flood Warning continues for the Big Sioux River at Hawarden. * At 08am Saturday the stage was 18.9 feet. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 18.3 feet by 7 am Tuesday. * At stages near 19.0 feet... South Dakota Highway 46 begins to flood. 1031 PM CDT sun Mar 21 2010 The Flood Warning continues for the Big Sioux River at Sioux Falls north cliff. * At 09pm Sunday the stage was 17.4 feet. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Wednesday March 24. * At stages near 17.5 feet... 60th street north and timberline Road begin to flood. 1031 PM CDT sun Mar 21 2010 ... Flood Warning extended until 1 PM Wednesday... the Flood Warning continues for the Vermillion river near Davis. * At 07pm Sunday the stage was 12.2 feet. * Flood stage is 11.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Tuesday March 23. * At stages near 12.0 feet... Highway 18 west of Davis will being flooding... and several houses in the western parts of Davis are in danger of flooding.
