Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 11:06 AM CST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 5 PM CST this
afternoon...
... Blizzard Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for blowing snow... which is in effect until 5 PM
CST this afternoon. The Blizzard Warning has been cancelled.

* Timing... conditions will gradually improve through the
afternoon.

* Accumulations... additional accumulations will be a tenth of an
inch or less.

* Wind and visibility... north to northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph
will be common... with some gusts around 45 mph possible in the
late morning and early afternoon. The combination of strong
winds and falling snow will occasionally reduce visibility to
a mile or less... especially in open areas. Drifting snow will
also impact travel through the afternoon.

* Wind chill values... wind chill values will fall to zero to 10
below zero by late afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas. &&
