Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 3:00 PM CST on November 30, 2015

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST

* timing... period of light to moderate snows are expected to
continue into the evening hours. Light snow will prevail later
tonight and continue through Tuesday.

* Snow accumulations... additional snow totals of 3 to 6 inches
will be possible through Tuesday afternoon.

* Wind and visibility... wind speeds will range from 5 to 15 mph
through this evening. Northwest winds will increase to 15 to
25 mph with gusts to 30 mph late tonight and Tuesday. Falling
snow will reduce visibility to less than a half mile at times.

* Impacts... snow covered roads and low visibilities will create
hazardous travel conditions today into Tuesday. The increasing
winds will also lead to areas of drifting snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
